Featherweight Stitch-A-Long:

I'm thrilled to share that two quilt block-inspired designs are now available in my Etsy Shop! These designs can be added to the Featherweight Sampler or stitched separately to frame or finish as desired.
While designing the Featherweight Sampler, I stitched it to commemorate my favorite Singer Featherweight, a 221 - the one I use most often. This version for the Stitch-A-Long will be for my 222 model and it deserves it's own quilt block. I'm in the process of creating a few more new designs, maybe one of them will be The One!

I recently a PDF titled 'Guide Cross Stitch on Aida', for use with the Stitch-A-Long. It began as a simple introduction and has blossomed into an useful 23-page resource, complete with a cover, a handy table of contents, a detailed index, and a delightful design perfect for beginners to stitch on Aida.

In early January, I’ll share updates on the Stitch-A-Long and introduce a few new designs that will complement the Quilt of The Featherweight Bee Quilt Sampler. I apologize for the delay which was due to several distractions, including the holidays and some illnesses. Everything is on track now, and I'm excited to move forward!​

We are ready to start our first Stitch-A-Long using my design, 'Featherweight Bee Quilt Sampler'. (click here to go to the SAL page).
I am Margaret Lee, the designer of ‘Featherweight Bee Quilt Sampler’ from Designs From Margaret Lee. In the coming weeks I will be stitching and leading you through stitching this design from gathering supplies to finishing and framing.

Everyone with a Singer Featherweight sewing machine, especially those who use it to quilt, appreciates their history and reliability. This counted thread sampler is a wonderful way to commemorate a special Featherweight for yourself or a friend or two or three.
